Crazy Ex-Girlfriend | Episode 13 (FINALE), Season 2 | FULL Reaction

Well, as I'm sure we all imagined, the wedding didn't happen! I'm not surprised it was Josh who ran away from it, there have been many hints that he wasn't quite as into it as Rebecca, and it has all been a bit weird ever since the 'durrr song' where he 'apparently' suddenly realised he'd "loved" Rebecca all along. Something didn't feel right. 

The reveal about what Rebecca had done re Robert was amazing! As I said in the outro, there's a part of me that thinks she could still be in that hospital, and what we're seeing in the show is just a representation of what she's playing out in her own head. I had that theory early in the first season but thought I was just letting my mind get carried away (the irony), but maybe that's now more of a possibility. I'm still about 95% sure that's not it though. 

The scene where she tellls her dad to disappear was fantastic! The determination and resolution in her face was remarkable! I think maybe the whole idea of her teetering on the edge of that cliff was a metaphor for where she was mentally in that moment. Very interesting. 

The ending with the new goal of 'revenge' was hilarious! 😂 Paula's face lighting up at that moment was everything, haha. I feel sorry for Josh though, he's just a dumb (literally) kid who got scared. That said, what he's done is unforgiveable and, IMO, dumb or not, he has lead Rebecca on a number of times and this wasn't the first time he's let her down! Is Rebecca's path ultimately destined for Nathaniel? Maybe, they have a lot in common. We'll see.

Thanks for sticking with it and watching this season with me. It has been so much fun! I might even rate this season as better than the first, and that's despite the mellowing of Valencia's character (which was probably the highlight of season1 for me)! Anyway, I won't be starting season 3 immeditately, but it shouldn't be more than a week or 2 until I do. I can't wait to see where it all goes!
