Adventure: Tears of Ghosts (Bronze)

The rail companies pay the hauntings no heed at first, until the ghost ventures to nearby stations to attack paying passengers. A corporate troubleshooter at Commerce Lines hires the characters to get rid of the ghost, unaware that people in his own company killed him. The investigators have to navigate smugglers, corrupt corporate lackeys, and a crowded apartment building to get to the heart of this conspiracy.
This adventure is designed for 3-4 characters of third level. You can run it for higher level characters by replacing the creature threats with higher CR counterparts. Investigative and social skills, from finding and analyzing clues to interviewing witnesses, are a primary in this adventure. The final confrontation, with either the murderer or ghost, plays out through combat.
