I'm happy to announce the commencement of a new series of adventures that take place within the gothic steampunk metropolis of Lothburgh. These adventures are all part of a series that will form a full campaign that will be compiled, along with a Lothburgh Gazetteer, into our next book.

This first adventure starts at the beginning, of course.

Part I - Chapter I: The Missing Blade

Deaver Combweather, an ex-adventurer turned retiree, is dead. Officially labeled as a “Missing Person’s Case” by the Lothburgh constabulary, Deaver’s daughter Clara knows deep down that her father is gone. While she hopes that her cynicism is wrong for once, Clara isn’t expecting a miracle.

What she doesn’t know is that Deaver is the first of several soon-to-be murders of ex-adventurers throughout the city. What should be a simple missing person’s case turns into something far more sinister as the conspiracy widens. Something is happening within the claustrophobic streets of Lothburgh beneath an oppressive, smog filled sky—something that threatens to topple the entire city if heroes don’t step up to the plate.

I'd love to get your feedback on these adventures as they come out. If you've got some time, run them and let me know how it went! What went well, what didn't? What was fun, and what was a slog? Did your players get stuck anywhere? Did they wander off for lack of clues? I want to hear the good and the bad, so we can put out the most kickass adventure and setting book we can.

This is the Silver-tier release of the adventure, which contains the print-friendly and color versions, as well as NPC portraits and tokens. There are currently no maps to go along with this adventure, aside from the insert of Deaver's flat. As such, the full release will be done at the silver level.
