VENGE PROGRESS - Week 1
Added 2022-03-10 20:55:19 +0000 UTCI've been struggling with Act 2, trying to make it feel right, so I've taken a break to work on Act 1 2.0.
I've got the first 15 or so minutes of Act 2 done but it is nowhere near my standards yet, so I'll keep working on it and keep beta testing it.
As for Act 1, I've reimported the sets and I'm optimizing them like CRAZY. I'm getting a solid 100+ fps in the editor, which means like 150fps+ in the built game. THIS IS CRAZY GOOD LOL.
Things are way more detailed and interactable, the inventory has been MASSIVELY overhauled and now supports chests, inspectables, collectables, etc etc! GREAT STUFF!

Act 1 updates:
I've pretty much completely changed how act 1 is, its so much better, the explore part of Act 1 takes on a freeworld appraoch and has many different elements that all work together to solve a puzzle (crossing a gap) in your OWN way. This graph shows my current idea for it, but its all non-final:
