Bad Luck

...But this is the bad luck i've been having lately in regards to the channel production. The audio and creative flare will be parred back.
My recorder broke - That means no nice fancy delicious Rode mics, just some cheap labels that hurt my ears they are TOO CRISPY!
Pc Lag - it is real, Every single change (I can make 50 a minute, they take less than a second to create a keyframe but a few seconds to listen/see if that change was good and tweak but some are very simple and i can bang them out) Takes 10-50 seconds to buffer. This is unworkable honestly to wait so long it will mean instead of taking a month to edit a video it would take me a year.
PC Crashes - Gone are the blue screens of death- i know get black ones every 2 minutes using certain plugins and also just "whenever my pc wants to troll me". At least a few times a day.
Render Errors - I can't even render and tend to par down effects and split the video into 30 parts to do so - time consuming as each attempt isn't always effective so has to be tried again. I have also used PNG sequences as render alternatives as you can pick up where you left off, then slap the audio on later.
Solution? I'll attempt to back up 11 TB of data...and then do a OS fresh reinstall, and also reupdate all drivers and the mb and see how that fairs (no guarantee and i might break it more! I've had to stop my Vtubing which I do quite enjoy and have scripts for, because that app doesn't open anymore. Along with many others, and for others I'm using well outdated forms of. Alas.
A zoom 6 and Mac PC might be the answer, but please, kindly hold off on any generosity! I do not make this post to gather funds, I'm purely expressing the reasons for a slight "laziness" in quality of my videos. I can no longer be a perfectionist or as creative as I once was and due to extenuating circumstances I need some time to think of what direction is best moving forward.
I only ask for forgiveness and put forth my hope that tingles can still be delivered with a different directional approach i will be (technically forcibly) making going forward, however I still think honestly in my heart, that simpler ASMR is much more effective at tingles....But hey, that's just me!
Side note, I'm going through a difficult time right now, and seeking my own comfort and writing down notes on what helps me, so that I may help you all. <3

We all know how much time and effort you dedicate to the channels, as well as a history of the obstacles you have faced in the past few years. I like the more simplistic audios, and you do a great job making them. Special effects aren't what make you an artist any more than a hammer makes someone a carpenter. Take time for yourself. Indulge in other things that give you peace, not take it from you.
