Lost a contract gig that was suppose to guarantee work through the year, lost 3 family members, started a new business, traveled to 7 states, got my passport for more travel in 2025. I'm hoping the dues paid in '24 can help pave the path towards success in the new year!

First my grandma AKA my last grandparent passed away and my mother was broken up about it, then my morning job was reduced from 5 days a week to 2 days a week due to budget cuts. To top it all off, my morning job didn't play any Christmas songs nor had a breakfast with Santa this year.

2025-01-02 00:49:46 +0000 UTCI'm going to try (its hard sometimes) not to overwork myself. I work in a profession that's in high demand and it's often hard to say no. The result in 2024 was lots of money, the downside was (like you) no time to myself. It sounds like you can relate.

So I guess this is the time to move on and rebuild my social life with new people I don't know. I will grieve over my loss for a while but that's the life and I eventually have to stand up and keep going.

Xwx As for what I’m leaving behind in 2024? Probably my old self again. He’s not really fit for what the world has in store. Not anymore. Maybe I’ll come back to him in better times, but that remains to be seen. I wanna advocate for myself more in 2025. Stand up for what’s right rather than what’s easy. That sort of thing.
