Hopefully Cooper's trust isn't misplaced after that stunt. That said I think River could be a good friend, I just think it was silly to play the trust card after already secretly breaking it.

2022-04-11 16:02:59 +0000 UTCThat Freudian slip from Coop though! I think he does want to be partner to Andy. But he's at least in tune with himself to know he's not ready yet. It appears he wants to be at least equal in the relationship. And toxic masculinity says he should definitely not be the "weak" one. He even recognizes the fact that some of his feelings could be instilled by his indebted situation to Andy. Like when you fall for someone that saved your life. All the feelings may not belong to him and some are from his desire to pay Andy back, which leads to not feeling "weak". It's nice to see this kinda self-awareness. As it's a sign of growth. I think he might move out. For someone like him in this situation. He needs to separate his dependence on Andy from his real feelings. And that won't happen without space or at least getting on equal footing with Andy. I seriously love that it appears he wants to be in a partnership but wants to own his feelings and not have them as a byproduct of his current situation! Fantastic writing as always!
