Page 62 WIP
Added 2021-10-19 13:01:02 +0000 UTCAfter a weekend of ACTUAL rest and refreshing, I am happy to say that it was super helpful and I am back at it with grinding away at the tablet :3 Thank you for everyone who encouraged me to take a break and put the pen down for a couple days. It genuinely helped and was a lesson for me to be okay with taking breaks when I feel like I need them. After some reflection, I think I was irrationally afraid that if I let myself take a break, I would never pick the comics back up again or suddenly be terrible at producing it. It actually did the opposite effect; a break gave me the strength and vision to start making significant progress again.
That being said, next comic page out ASAP! ^^

That’s awesome!!! I’m so glad you were able to get the rest you needed! Burnout is such a tough thing to deal with thank you for producing amazing work!! Just make sure our don’t push yourself too hard!!

2021-10-19 17:42:49 +0000 UTCI don't get why anyone would complain. your Patreon only charges per thing if you do a thing, so no thing means no charge. some creators take breaks but still charge (which most people are also fine with in all of my experience). so really there is no issue at all. patrons need to learn to stop harassing the creators about their content and just either shut up or move on. I always encourage my creators to do what they need to feel better and recharge themselves because I know it has always been a positive outcome.

Studies have shown well rested works put out better content with fewer mistakes than those that are overworked. So despite how bad people want to see where this story goes, please take the necessary time for yourself to.
