I wanna try and get into the habit of sharing more detailed WIPs for you guys after there's no risk of spoilers! :3 Today I'll use the example of the group shot from V3 page 57.
Every single panel goes through three rounds before I even come close to coloring; basic blocking, linework prep, then final linework.
In basic blocking, my main focus is on where the characters are in the shot, how big they are, and the direction they're facing. This step is the loosey-goosey one, so I can give them dumb faces or noodle arms. It's not the time to fret about details, so I try not to get caught up in them too early on.
The second round is when I start to sketch in details. Sometimes I'll use different colors to indicate different sketch layers. For example, Gary's head is red but his body is black because I already sketched his body, but didn't wanna mess up his body lines while I work on the placement of his head. Sometimes I'll draw too big or small and need to adjust them to look like they fit :P
Final lines are the most important step and take me the longest. I have to make sure all lines are closed off so that the magic wand tool can help me color. This is also where I spend the most time scouring over their facial expressions. Sometimes I'll have to draw 3-4 faces before I'm satisfied with what the character is conveying.
You might be able to see their background vaguely behind them! When the background is larger or more detailed, sometimes I'll go in and deal with the background first because it's the least fun step for me and I don't wanna spend comic work time dreading that step haha
Anyways, hope this was kind of interesting for you and gives you a better idea of how I make the pages! I'll try to take more screenshots as I work so you can see the different steps from initial concept to completion ^^
