🍓 The Q&A Dilemma 🍓

Going back to work is forcing me to regroup as far as my work-art balance. My luxury of full-time art time is gone, and I have to get more realistic again. I’d love to bring the Q&A back soon, but they take a surprising amount of time time to work on since I basically do linework for them (I usually also go through a couple rounds of concept sketches as I try and come up with the answers). My question to you guys is this; is it better for me to simplify the answers drawn for the Q&A, or would another perk be better to replace it with? I might be able to swing it if I forced myself to tone it down to just a sketch layer and not be such a perfectionist. If not that, then perhaps posts from my personal sketchbook or more concept art for future stories might suffice? I wanna do whatever is going to make you happy, so let me know what you think!

🍓 More Education 🍓

Aside from sticking around at my day job due to health insurance, my company also offers various free education. Not too long ago, I completed a certificate in Appliance Repair so I could be better versed in home maintenance! Now I have signed up for a new program where I can take a few courses in Small Business. I like learning and becoming a more rounded individual, so I’m excited to try something new and potentially beneficial to me as a freelance artist. A part of me is like “*groan* why would you sign up for this? You already have such a full schedule!” but at least it’s a pretty short program so it shouldn’t knock me too sideways!

🍓 Future Conventions 🍓

Unfortunately, I will not going to BLFC like I originally planned. I applied for MFF just in case, but realistically I am betting that my next con will be FC 2022.

🎉 Birthday Month 🎉

My birthday is on Sept 8th! I’d love to be able to take either the first or second weekend off of the month. I’ll try to work around it so it goes relatively unnoticed on your guy’s end.
