Holy wow, this was a challenge to get through on time lol work at the day job was really rough this week so I'm essentially queueing this up right before finally going to sleep like
Also here's a funny little process shot of how the boys got finalized on this page. Most of the panels start off goofy and terrible, then they get a second coat dry-run for linework before final lines go in.

As to what's going on with the rest of them, I admit I don't have the slightest idea. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it seems like people are missing that Jenn (if I remember her name) and River are talking about being obsessed with each other, and holding hands. That can easily be just friendly, but new ship? Cooper is being interesting here. He's not doing a disappear run away deal like he's done in the past, and he's being calm and friendly about it, but he is retreating all the same. I have no idea how the next page is going to go.

2021-08-25 07:18:53 +0000 UTCAlright, I think I want Cooper and River together, Andy and Cooper’s dynamic is dramatic but not really natural, Andy’s been trying to force it for years and even though he is making progress, its not really resulting in Cooper opening up to him. Andy might of been a gateway for Cooper into his homosexual feelings, but its entirely possible that on a personality level, they conflict too much. If Cooper is to just embrace his homosexuality at all, I’d see it come more easily through a relationship with River who is very feminine and allows Cooper some more comfort in maintaining a heterosexual -esque relationship dynamic. Thats just my two cents, obviously Jack you write the ending u want to write :v and Andy deserves love, regardless from who it is from

He definitely needs some time to process everything and figure out what the hell got into Andy, I don’t blame him for calling it early even though the others look like they’re having a great time! I love how close and quickly they all seemed to bond outside and how affectionate river and Chelsea are 💜

Last page I thought he was just stuck in the straight denial with Andy but someone pointed out that Andy didn't ask before going to town on him, and that's understandably a mood killer. Now he has to cut his own party short cause he can't put on a happy face for his guests, which is a shitty feeling. Basically, I love this comic and all its emotional detail. <3
