It's a shame this even needs to be said, you'd think people would know how to behave. Jackaloo you do great work, who really is a "professional writer" anyways? even those that call themself pros fuck up stories. Writing in general is hard, I use to be one in this fandom. Probably still could be if i wanted to. It's YOUR story, own it! People get too attached to characters and sometimes feel entitled to what happens to a character that aint theirs. You just keep up your hard work, its paying off. I am invested to see what happens next and to see what happens between Andy and Cooper, and And and Emery. Maybe more Cooper rear shots in the future? lol

I think it’s all about perception. You can assume people are angry and shouting, or you can see how excited everyone is to see what happens next. Some people are portraying Andy as a predator, and knowing how kind and gentle he really is, others feel this is unfair. At the end of the day, it’s great how we can can openly share our thoughts about a pornagraphic comic, isnt that amazing all on its own? this community is so beautiful 💜

Everyone sharing opinions in the comments is literally amazing and you guys are wonderful. I get some comments have come off heated, but it’s because the story’s getting heated up!! Haha, it’s all in good fun, like arguing with a friend. I get it may not have come off that way, so I’ll apologize. I sincerely thought it would come across in a more playful manner.

Your writing skills are so immense, it’s easy to become overly invested in the story! They are such relatable characters…. I’ve seen many people in the comments relate to them(myself included) and sometimes it becomes oddly personal. But I think it’s a great thing.

I can empathize with those that may feel somewhat disappointed with the direction their relation is going, with the fact that Andy/Emery isn't really a long term thing most likely, that Cooper is so reluctant to face some very pressing and anxiety enduring questions in his heart right now. It's uncomfortable to follow a story with such uncertainty. But while it may not be comfortable watching Andy be a bit too aggressive and to see Coop be so disconnected from his true feelings, etc., that's just kinda how real life is. Things are messy, people are constantly finding out who they are and trying to make connections with others around them to varying levels of success. I'm grateful that what we have here isn't a 5 page comic of "Hey you're hot - Hey thanks you too - Hey let's have sex - Okay." Those are a dime a dozen, and rather forgettable. This series has become an actual great story of self discovery! And as a guy who relates really well to Coop's difficulties coming to terms with his sexuality, I can't help but love sharing the ride with these characters! Jackaloo's work is among the very few I continually come back to. I hope you never change, Jack, and I hope you don't get too disheartened by any negativity or infighting you see here. The VAST majority of us support your creative direction 100%!

I don't think I can add to anything that hasn't already been said. These characters are dynamic, living and breathing. You are by far one of the best writers this fandom has ever seen, and it's obvious these chracters and story mean as much to you as they do to us. Everyone's angsting and shouting at each other and I just want Riv and Coop to do a strip tease duet at the club. In seriousness though, I appreciate the fact that you're making a messy comic where the characters can be dumb and immature but aren't malicious.

I feel bad for the people that were in serious denial about the nature of Andy and Emery's relationship. People are definitely into the story, myself included. I like that you managed to make a situation that even as an Andy/Cooper shipper I had to figuratively waggle my finger at Andy for what he did.

So, what you're saying is that there is still plenty of time for Andy to become so bitter that he turns to crime and drugs to ease his pain left by the bottomless void left in his heart by his would-be lover, Coop? That there is still time for Coop to really find his stride dancing at the bar and to ultimately find his calling as a drag queen, becoming super famous nationwide, further salting the dripping wound on Andy's heart? That River will realize their true place is performing alongside Coop, as well as operating as his manager, becoming a major catalyst in Coop's success? Okay yeah, I'm down for whatever may come. Come at me Jack! (Not a pun 😅)

I’ve been seeing a lot of surprising hate towards the most recent pages of the comic, and I personally think much of it is unwarranted. I personally love the story because it feels *real*. Wether it be Andy latching onto someone who may or may not be the right fit for them (while blocking potentially better people), Cooper struggling with his sexuality and discovering what he likes and dislikes, Wally and Noah potentially trying to find love again after falling through hard times, etc. There’s a lot of themes tied with the Internship and the side comics that feel painfully real (in a very good way lol). No person is ever perfect, and will always fall into struggles and do things they might not normally do. Of course, everyone’s entitled to interpret the story the way they want to. Even angry feedback comes from people who care about the comic and its characters. However I believe there’s a fine line between constructive criticism and just nagging. Even if there’s mistakes or things you don’t agree with, voicing those opinions in a constructive way can go a long way for the future of the series. But if you’re just nagging in a way to personally attack the writer and even other commentators, you’re just a pain in the ass that isn’t worth the time and energy to deal with. With that being said though, at the end of the day, this is Jackaloo’s story, not ours. And with that, he’s free to have artistic freedom and take characters in whatever direction he sees fit. Regardless tho, I personally love the direction the story is going. Even if some characters don’t go the direction I’d want them to go, I’m still excited to see where Jack takes them. Again, the story feels so much closer to real life than most furry comics imo, struggles and all, and I’m all for that lol. Keep doing what you do, Jack. You’re doing amazing. 😄 (I realize this is very, very long lol, but it’s the best way I can get my thoughts out there)

I hope you don't feel too bad about people criticizing your writing because it isn't taking the story in the direction they personally want it to go. I would prefer for some rather unpopular things to happen personally, but I'll never be angry when it doesn't happen. Please don't take the vocal criticism too much to heart, there are dozens of people who feel the opposite and don't say as much.

I think its important to make art that represents the complexity of life even when that might be uncomfortable for readers. Thanks for making an effort to show the humanity of these characters even as they make mistakes.
