It's interesting that "present" Cooper is just as confused. Prior to Cooper's admission to River I'd be (lightly) scolding Andy for bi erasure here, but not even Cooper knows for sure. Perhaps Cooper is doing some bi erasure on himself by trying to figure out if he's gay or straight. I have no guess as to whether Cooper is gay or not now. I assumed bi, and this page certainly suggests it, but it's a mystery.
