I seem to recall him showing interest in women too, but maybe I'm mixing things up? He knows bisexuals exist, so this wording is really interesting. Either way, I hope he opens up to Andy too. I definitely friend-ship Cooper and River.

2020-10-30 14:12:35 +0000 UTCI had been anxiously awaiting this particular chapter, and it was such a relief to see Cooper offer a sincere apology to River and verbalize his insecurities. Although Cooper has often been an asshole who hurt others due to his reckless, impulsive behavior, my heart hurts for him so much. Coming to terms with one's sexuality can be an arduous ordeal, but Cooper also had the unfortunate circumstance of living under the roof of an abusive, homophobic father. Living with that level of palpable, corrosive anxiety had been eating away at him for years, and I am so thrilled that he had the guts to finally express his true feelings out loud. Hopefully, this will be a significant turning point for Cooper, and he will continue to become more confident, mature, and considerate. Absolutely wonderful chapter!
