I really hope that Fletcher isn't just going to become the stereotypical "bad guy" that everyone rallies against. This comic has been so good so far because it's been the most realistic gay comic any of us have ever seen, and having a bad guy in the story just for the sake of having a bad guy seems very cliche and unlike what we've seen so far. I think the reason Jackaloo is doing a background comic for every character is to expand on their past and what led them to become who they are currently, and with Fletcher if we at the very least don't get that, and he remains a 2-dimensional villain, I think a lot of people will be dissapointed. Absolutely fantastic comic series so far, though.

Poor Andy looks lost and sad. I wish I knew what happened to Coop and if he went back to ignoring his feelings.

I'm with you on that. While I understand Emery's situation, I'm not a big fan of how he deals with this on an emotional level. I actually can't wait until Cooper is back on the comic. He's definitely the most interesting character for me, and ultimately the reason why I'm a patron.

So I wasn't exactly on the Emery ship in the first place. But this just kind of solidifies it a bit more. Never was fond of the uncertainty of WHAT they have. Aside from porking, they didn't seem to be on the same page. Not to mention he seems to still be drooling over Fletcher.

You know, I have to say... this story really makes for good "coffee table discussion." In fact, it's kind of the springboard that group therapists dream of. Relationships are complicated, especially outside of the heteronormative model. Yet, there are just as many various types of people in the LGBTQ world. We really don't talk enough among ourselves to come to any real understanding about these pressing issues, so something like this, it really creates a forum for all of that. It's also a reminder to communicate and be transparent in the way we form relationships, regardless of sexual orientation. The important part is just trying to remain civil and respectful via the discourse and sharing of opinions, since tensions can run hot with trigger-happy topics like love. So far, I'm really impressed with how the community here handles itself. We've done a pretty good job at having meaningful discussions without arguing/fighting. That's why I prefer it so much to FA or anywhere else.

I'm in a relationship with an age difference. I'm the older one. I obviously see no problem with it, and I don't think that's all that the wolf finds to be sleazy. What I see is someone taking issue with the casual nature of the relationship, and the fact Emery deliberately took advantage of Andy. That is exactly how it sounds, and I don't think it makes someone a jerk to comment on how awful that all seems, since Andy has obviously gotten hurt. The only way age enters into it is that it comes off as someone using their power and experience (two things that often come with age) to use someone else. In that sense, I can understand the disgust. As a "Daddy," I still feel it, cause I was also in shoes similar to Andy and River, when I was their age, but things did not go well for me at all. It was a nightmarish experience. That's who I see Waldren as at this point in time, not because of age, but because of the specific way in which he has gone about all of this. I say this just as someone with a unique perspective, given all of my own experience of three and a half decades. I've been on both sides of the age gap, with different types of people, so I can perhaps shed a bit of light on the thought process of it all. The wolf is still his own character, and he might be more judgemental than me about age... but I still understand why he would think this, taking ALL the information and data into consideration.

This page really gets me lol. As someone who has literally been in shoes very similar to Andy's. The "Waldren" in my story is now my husband of 2 years.... And there were always the pompous jerkoffs like the grey wolf that sit there and naysay/berate because of an age difference, even though given the chance, they'd do the exact same thing. Dumping someone just because there is a slight discourse is a cowards way out, and those that encourage it are either cowards themselves, or are jealous of others' happiness. I don't know the name of the grey wolf but I certainly have a real life counterpart to him, and he's just an ass all around. Tldr( this page gives me feels and makes me salty) <3

Hmmm . . . How very interesting! But yeah, that work/pleasure dynamic is fucked up. It's like, how do you balance intimacy with having to be a boss at the same time? Walden fucked up big time with that, no doubt. It's like, "Are you my boss or are you my lover?" I'm not surprised Andy's been acting differently. He had no idea how to field this kind of relationship. I wouldn't either, were I in his shoes.
