As a bunch of part-animal geeks, we all care immensely for the wellbeing of our beloved pets and critters out there. Let's help contribute to the causes out there who rescue and care for animals that are taken advantage of and abused in various forms. Please read through each organization and choose your favorite charity.

The Rescue + Freedom Project: Dedicated to rescuing survivors of unique captivity and cruelty and telling their emotionally compelling stories to prompt social change and celebrate a #RescueLifestyle.

The Humane Society: Driving transformational change in the U.S. and around the world by combating large-scale cruelties such as puppy mills, animal fighting, factory farming, seal slaughter, horse cruelty, captive hunts and the wildlife trade.

Cruelty Free International: Investigate and expose the reality of life for animals in laboratories, challenge decision-makers to make a positive difference for animals, and champion better science and cruelty free living.

American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA): Provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States, from federal laws to local courts to community engagement.

World Animal Protection: Work with communities around the world to help them protect their pets and working animals, and respond quickly when a disaster strikes to ensure that animals aren't the forgotten victims.
