Salvete friends,
On our last (third) day of our adventure in Germany, we visited the Roman Temple of Martberg.
We thought we would have an easy walk to the top of the mountain where the temple is located, film a few scenes and then quickly grab our stuff and return to the Netherlands. But the mountain we had to climb had other plans for us.
At the beginning of the walk, we thought we saw a road sign saying it would take 500 meters to get to the temple, but we soon realized that the sign actually indicated that the temple's location was at an altitude of 500 meters from where we were standing. It was yet another tough climb to the top! Especially because we had all the camera gear, but also carrying Marc's two-year-old daughter in a stroller.
Of course we made the climb without complaining, and we enjoyed the beautiful view over the small town Karden and the river Mosel, but mostly enjoyed the fantastic images that we filmed and will soon be able to show you. The Temple itself is amazing and next to the reconstructed temple you can see the remains from the historical temple that once stood there.
I put a link down below for more information about this Temple.

Till next time!
