The National Day of Archeology

Due to our busy schedules, we rarely go to events. Last weekend it was National Archeology Day. We were asked to come to the museum Hof van Nederland in Dordrecht, an archeology fair was organized with all kinds of booths showcasing Dutch History.
Of course we as Roman re-enactors could not be missing out on this. Many Roman finds have been discovered in and around Dordrecht, including a lot of footwear. It was very nice to take a look at the museum. We were asked to do a little photoshoot there.
But in the end, we were there for the entertainment of the visitors. We had set up a small camp with many Roman items. We now have so much Roman stuff that we can put on an exhibition ourselves... maybe sometime in the future when we're famous ;-)
