Our trip to Belgium!

As you know, we started re-enacting as first century AD Roman soldiers.
Our new goal is to cover multiple eras of the Roman empire and history, including the Roman soldiers of the Republican era. This was a century of famous generals such as Julius Caesar and Pompeius Magnus.
Because we do not have any equipment of that period, we asked for help from our Belgian friends from Legio VII. They re-enact Roman legionairs from the Republic period and had extra gear for us to borrow so we could portray Republican legionairs.
It was a long drive and it was freezing cold that day, but it was all worth it in the end! We met great people with whom we share the same passion and hobby and we had a fantastic time.
We will definitely pay Legio VII a visit in the near future. Mostly to share a beer and have a BBQ, but also because some members of Legio VII re-enact Celtic and Gallic warriors, that's something we are really excited about and want to show you guys in the future as well!

Thanks for your comment! We have exactly the same interest. All the equipment we cover in our videos gives us a great love for every Roman era. One of our dreams is to collect a Roman kit from every century.
