Ninja too flex....
Added 2017-09-29 03:09:31 +0000 UTCJust a quick note on the flexible parts for version 2 mechanisms. I will update the instructions but I used Ninjaflex Cheetah for all flexible parts NOT just Ninjaflex. Cheetah is much more rigid and robust while the standard ninja flex is very flexible (too flexible) for drives / tyres etc. Cheetah is also much easier to feed / print on a standard setup (recommended settings on the ninjaflex website). There’s not a huge amount in the whole droid, a single half kilo roll was more than enough for everything including all the redesigns and test pieces as I refined the design. It’s mainly the odd part on the drive unit, servo arms, gripper and interface arm along with holoprojectors.
