Cool, I have a plan with 6mm bearing wheels and a ball bearing.

2017-04-17 19:48:40 +0000 UTCOk, leave it with me :-) can you get standard 6mm bearings or 8mm bearings?

2017-04-17 19:20:09 +0000 UTCGreat! just cant wait to see that, because down here in Brazil is impossible to find one of that Lazy Susan that builders uses! So, to print that is the perfect solution.. By the way, have think about do not use a "lazy Susan solution"and try a system with some other layout.. like a "ring with inner wheels"instead of ball bearings ?..
2017-04-17 19:13:08 +0000 UTCI've just ordered an 18 inch lazy Susan to test how we can fit the dome. The upper ring on the body does have holes for a lazy susan. The printed lazy susan is too noisy and not smooth hence using a metal one. The only challenge is the lower ring on the dome and how that fits to the lazy Susan. I have seen the lazy Susan fit directly into the body without the ring so that also may be an option so that's why I want to look at. Again intend to redesign the inner gear and drive etc.

2017-04-17 18:13:45 +0000 UTCBy the way.. how We fit the Dome on the body.. I mean, shall I use that lazy susan from the version one, or there will be an specific design for that ?
2017-04-17 17:49:07 +0000 UTCGreat!!
2017-04-17 17:46:57 +0000 UTCHi, it's an updated design. Same size as other one and as accurate but I've redesigned the fixings and the internals. I will do the same for the outer feet.
