123D decline :-(
Added 2017-03-25 11:23:10 +0000 UTCI have to say, 123D design was my first design tool, and therefore my favourite. It was with surprise and sadness that I learnt autocrat were going to retire the product. Sure it's unreliable and crashes quite a lot but it was my design tool of choice. So this week I decided that I need to learn another tool to continue the R2 Design.
Fusion 360 is the natural choice, so I momentarily paused the design work to learn a new piece of software. This slightly delays the design work but I'm please to say I've wrestled the beast that is Fusion and I think I like it. In fact it does have many features which are better than 123D. I've designed the legs on in Fusion as a learning process and think we're now back on track! Hurrah! Sorry for the slight delay but I'm back on it :-)
