I've been trying for a while to finish this, sorry I'm taking so long, I've been dealing with a few things but nothing to worry about ^^ I think everything will be fine soon.

So, a little introduction to Val, as she first appears on the 4th chapter of the story (that you can read here, in case you haven't yet). She only has a few lines while Elizabeth tells a story, but in the future will have more scenes.

Valerie comes from a very poor family. Her parents were peasants who didn't have the means to send her to school. However, Valerie was always curious and ambitious, and from an early age she strove to outdo herself. She learnt basically everything by herself and when she finally could go to school, easily outperformed her classmates. She thinks adversity builds character, however she wants to help make a better world so others don't have to face the same difficulties she had when she was only a child.

She has Complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS) which means she actually has XY chromosomes, but her body developed a tipically female phenotype. She, however, doesn't have an uterus or ovaries, and thus can't give birth.
