Dev news #3 - update 0.60 - preview

Hey guys,

I'm going to start with an apology this time. I promised myself and you that I would keep you updated on the progress of the game. Unfortunately I've spent the last two weeks with the worst flu I've ever had. I spent over a week in hospital with a fever of over 40C. I've been home for a few days now and am slowly recovering, but I'm not back to full fitness yet.

Work on the update was going really well until I got sick. Yesterday I was able to resume work, but for the time being I don't have the strength to fully commit to it. Here's what I've done so far:

- The script is finished, translated and approved

- I have 1200 rendered images at the moment (this is about half of what is needed)

- I have a rough draft of the script for the naughty scenes (work on this will continue as soon as I start rendering the images)

- Finished and tested the walkthrough (works great)

- Improved the scoring system and added a few more things to be displayed that way

- Reworked the game code for the first 6 days (removed unnecessary/poorly configured variables and replaced them with properly working ones; added some dialogue to make scenes smoother and more enjoyable to play)

- Completely redesigned the images for days 1 and 2

There's still a long way to go, but despite the huge amount of work, progress is visible and that makes me happy.

And of course I wouldn't be myself if I didn't add some new girls :)

I haven't decided yet whether their roles will only serve to advance the story or whether they will become an important part of the game, but knowing me, some of them will end up in our MC's bed sooner or later.
