Small notification

No chapter part today, sorry.
Long story short, I had a tooth infection (probably a broken piece of a root left behind, not sure) inflaming the left side of my face for the past couple of days. It didn't hurt, but my jaw was swollen to twice its size, it was giving me a pulsing tinnitus with each heartbeat whenever I laid down, and I even got a fever and some headaches from it. Unfortunately, I couldn't get an appointment with the dentist (or rather, I could... for late March...), so I had to tough it out. Because of this, I was living off aspirin for the past couple of days, which messed up my stomach lining and gave me cramps, which, combined with the pulsing thing, meant I could barely sleep.
Now, by some miracle, the swelling went down this morning, and I'm feeling considerably better, but because I didn't get a single proper night's sleep since last Saturday, my brain's not exactly in prime condition. I'll try to get some proper shuteye tonight and finish up the chapter part I've been struggling with tomorrow, but I'm just not in the right headspace to get anything done right now.

Jesus Christ. Just rest man. That sounds like you needed to be hospitalized and supervised in case that infection crossed the line. Hope you feel better and the infection goes away.

2024-01-12 16:41:09 +0000 UTC"Jaw swollen to twice it's size..." Dude! That's not something you should tough out! I'd have gone to the ER immediately, or at least an urgent care. They can't do much for teeth, but, they coulda prescribed antibiotics for the infection. I feel for you though. I knocked out one of my two front teeth recently, need another three months of healing before I can get the implant. Hopefully you get to keep the tooth.
