Tiny update
Added 2020-10-05 16:20:01 +0000 UTCSorry, dear readers. I really should have given you a heads-up sooner, but things are getting a little hectic over here. They just recently found a COVID patient in our neighborhood, with a couple of caretakers of the institute also living nearby and having interacted with her in the past. Because of this, a few people have already been put under quarantine, which in turn made the institute even more understaffed than it already was, so we are currently running emergency shifts again. Though, in my case, it just means that now I'm "officially" the main escort for patients going to and from hospitals, courtrooms, and taking care of off-site paperwork, every single day, but the fact that I still have to do my usual work on top of all that means that I am being a tad overworked at the moment.
Because of this, I have been tired as a dog for the whole week and I put off writing until the weekend... and then I crashed again, this time sleeping for 36 hours with two small "lunch breaks" in-between, meaning I'm currently sitting on a paltry 2k words.
In short, I will try my best to upload something in the next couple of days, but I honestly don't dare to promise anything more concrete, and in any case, please accept my sincerest apologies for the schedule slip.

Good God! Forgot about us and take care of yourself first for Pete’s sake! Your concern for us is sweet, but we definitely won’t get new chapters if you work yourself to death! Take a spa day or something before you even think about such things!

2020-10-05 20:11:23 +0000 UTCI don't think so. I mean, I'm already slipping, taking almost three weeks for a full chapter, so even if I take a month off, it wouldn't necessarily help, especially with all of the external issues. If anything, I should really try to get back to the old two-week schedule, but I probably won't be able to do that in the foreseeable future.
