Here’s a copy of the dream we analyze:
“In the apartment where I live are rooms that I once knew were there but somehow have forgotten long ago. The rooms are fully furnished and give an impression of faded luxury, with a style that's a few decades old. I had dreams like this on a few occasions before, several years apart. The apartment building is usually made of brick, 3 or 4 stories high, and located in an old working-class neighborhood that's been gentrified. This time the dream feels a bit different, as there is another apartment available in the building. It’s in the front and on the highest floor, with more light and has a view on a busy street below, compared to my apartment which is in the back and doesn’t get as much light. So many people are interested in this new apartment that the landlord has put out a lottery system to decide who would get it. The new apartment is bigger and more expensive, which I cannot afford, but I figured my chances of getting it are pretty low so I try the lottery anyway, thinking I will not get it. But to my greatest surprise, my number matches exactly the 8 digits and I win the apartment! Now I wonder how will I afford it, and how can I move all the furniture from my apartment into the new one? Maybe I can get some roommates. And I wonder, should I sell some of my old furniture? One piece in particular catches my attention. It’s an oval-shaped dining table with a white marble top and dark wooden base. I remember a similar piece from my childhood, but I think it was a console placed against a wall rather than a dining table. With my new roommates I try to get in the new apartment from the back and with great difficulty, dangling on the top of a ladder, then I realize, why not just get in the easier way, by the front entrance?”
Let us know what you think.
