Jung’s psychology includes the “contrasexual” image of our opposite gender which naturally arises in our psyches. This “other” exerts tremendous influence on our waking life.
Conduct the following psychological experiment:
Sitting quietly, simply repeat the phrase, “I am and man and I am a woman.” Do this for about 3 minutes. Note the feelings and fantasies that arise, as well as your defenses to this idea. Discuss this in detail.
