The main purpose of drawing shadows is to show the volume of your drawing . Shadows are different . For example , if there is any color next to the shadow that is reflected , For example ; a jacket is bright blue , then the color of the shadow will be slightly dark blue , due to the fact that in reality the shadows will acquire the color of the nearby eye . So you need to remember , the beginning of the shadow will always be a little blurry .
