Real time, while I was drawing this piece I was struggling so much with the background and the colors, nothing felt like it worked and I felt so stressed and like shit. When I finished it, I had a lil breakdown and was so hard on myself. I felt like my progress was going nowhere and that I was bad at this, that I would never be enough. But that was because I was forcing myself to finish something I didn’t felt so much at first, and pressuring myself to do it. Even tho Art is something you have to practice and put effort into, at the end of the day Art is about emotions, and just… Art. We put so much pressure in ourselves sometimes that we forget to enjoy the process sometimes. This may seem ridiculous but it’s something a silly volleyball anime is teaching me, yes practice makes a great person, but the process, taking your time to enjoy it, it’s what will make the results feel the greatest.

Do I love this one? No, I think it could be better, but I feel like this is the point. It could be better. So yeah I was breaking down, but decide to keep going sometimes is what counts.
