Napster Revival and Arabella Ch.2

Hey people!

Let's take a history lesson from Wiki:

Napster was a peer-to-peer file sharing application that originally launched on June 1, 1999 with an emphasis on digital audio file distribution. Audio songs shared on the service were typically encoded in the MP3 format. As the software became popular, the company ran into legal difficulties over copyright infringement. It ceased operations in 2001 after losing a wave of lawsuits and filed for bankruptcy in June 2002.

A couple of weeks ago a TTBS fan sent me a great mod. He/She called it Napster mod for TTBS. What does it do? Instead of listening to royalty free music while playing, Mary Jane will listen a random selection of pirated hits of 1999.

Now my obvious problem is that I can't distribute pirated material BUT if you own these tracks already and you want to use this mod you can:

1 Create a file, named

music

Inside put the song Butterfly by Crazy Town as .ogg (Preferably volume 50%) and rename it as

Summer Vibes-Mike Leite.ogg

2 Create a file, named

music2

Inside put the songs as .ogg (Preferably volume 50%) and copy paste the names as follows

It's a pretty good MOD and it's a pity I don't have a million dollars to buy legally the rights of those songs (lol).

Arabella Chapter 2:

It's summertime, it's too hot and I took some time off from Mary Jane. And since I'm nuts, my idea of vacation was working a little bit on Arabella (lol). For those of you who liked that project I have a couple of bad news:

- A friend suggested that maybe since it's a classic piece of literature, Patreon might allow the original taboo themed text. Right? WRONG! So, I'll have to keep the modifications. I could transfer that project to SubscribeStar but it wouldn't be fair to you.

- Do you like Arabella's voice? Me too. Well, too bad that Speechelo decided to change it for 'technical difficulties' and there's nothing I can do about it. So I'm in search for a new voice and I have to redo the whole 1st chapter voice wise.

If you think Arabella doesn't worth a couple of weeks each 6 months and I should focus entirely on Mary Jane please tell me. I'd like to know what you think.

TTBS v0.6

I'm gathering material, ideas, doing some blueprints and I'm planning on working on TTBS in a week from now. It's Amber time.

PS: Baldur's Gate 3 is out. Haven't tried it yet and I don't think I will bc if I do MJ will be stuck in v0.57 for months (lol). As the MC does once in a while, I remember playing Baldur's Gate non stop. Great story, great game.
