Hey gang. A lot's been going on in my life lately and I thought I'd update you all so you know why I've been less active this week. They're private matters so I'm not sure when to say anything pubicly or if I will at all, but I'm alright sharing it with you, my patrons. You're all part of the lovenstein family.

So here's the not so fun news. My grandma passed away a couple days ago. I was very close with her and she was like a parent to me growing up. I've already done a comic about her and one of her many stories. I also dedicated my first book to her that many of you helped make happen with your hard earned money. It wasn't completely unexpected. She was 90 going on 91 and we knew time was short, but it was still a hard blow. I'm at peace with it and I'll be getting back to work soon.

More not so fun news. Yesterday, the day after my grandma's passing, my dog Emir had some pain while going to the bathroom and we ended up taking him to the vet. Turns out his prostate is swollen. He's currently at a vet hospital getting scanned and examined. We're not totally sure what the solution is yet. It doesn't sound life threatening, but it's been decimating our wallets.

So it's just been a hard week for me. Sorry for the downers, but that's why you haven't seen much from me all week. As things settle down, I'll be getting back to full operations. Thanks for your patience and constant support.
