Understanding my position on #BlackLivesMatter:

Hello Patrons. I have noticed Patrons leaving due to my posts about #BlackLivesMatter. It blows my mind that this is happening, so I'm assuming that people are confused and assuming the worst. SO! Allow me to explain my position:

#BlackLivesMatter is a peaceful protest movement where people are trying to elevate Black voices to be heard, stop police brutality, and stop systemic racism. I would like to point out that I know many policemen personally, and not all cops are bad. I think that police need to have reform and must be trained along with mandatory body cams which are under constant review, but let's get back to focusing on elevating Black People!  If you stand up for equality for all races, then you stand with #BLM. People are confused, because they see on the media that looters/vandals/anarchists are destroying cities, and they are being lumped in with the #BLM protestors, when in actuality, #BlackLivesMatter is peaceful, and those vandals are not part of it. However, I cannot deny that a small percentage of #BLM protestors are in fact committing heinous acts by looting/vandalism, however, that small percentage should not distract you from the REAL cause at hand here: injustice. That's why I support Black Lives Matter, and you should too. The movement is all about using your voice to speak out against racism and police brutality. The slogan "White Silence is Violence" may make you feel uncomfortable, but that is the truth. If you are not speaking out against racism when you see it, your silence is doing nothing but allowing that racism to take place. We must understand, that it is our duty to do what is right, for people who do not have that same voice. Your voice is valuable, YOU MATTER, and YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Please continue to speak out against injustice, racism, and police brutality. It is going to take many years, but as we've seen all throughout history, CHANGE IS REAL, WE JUST NEED TO ACT ON IT. The time to act is now. No longer will we be silent.

I will continue to make Pokemon GO videos and livestreams. But this requires my attention right now, so please bear with me while our attention is hyper focused on this issue.
