This is a fun spin on the salamander flexi! A dragon salamander mix! This release includes:
🐉Dramander Flexi
🐉 Dramander 3MF
🐉 Dramander split up (body/eyes)
These test to the same scale as salamander since the body sections are the same, 160% to 60%. I recommend at minimum 3 walls, and I personally use 15% 3D honeycomb infill sliced in bambu slicer.
Filaments used:
Green and peach: Ziro Matcha, Polymaker Spring pink gradient, Hatchbox sparkle grey
Red and grey: Polymaker lava red, Hatchbox Sparkle Grey, Hatchbox Sparkle yellow
White and purple: Ziro white marble, Ziro matte color change Neon

2024-08-06 00:04:37 +0000 UTCOh no! Ok. I'll have to make a modification (i.e shrink the split eyes down to make a "flat" surface to put these other half eyes on....ope. I already printed like 15 eyeless salamanders! I use mostly 2 color for multicolor prints, but there isn't an eyeless 3mf so I thought I was being clever by using the split eyes!

2024-08-04 02:05:49 +0000 UTCHii!! deleting the eyes off the normal version isn’t going to work with the split up eyes haha, you need to use the file that ends in “split_up_dramander” then you can use the eyes file and glue those in 🥰

2024-08-03 04:08:51 +0000 UTCHelps! I uh, deleted the eyes and printed them seperate on the normal 3mf model thinking to save 5 hours on a print in switch time. But I'm having trouble understanding how to install the "split" eyes. I've just got empty socket and am I supposed to glue the eyes together? heh, sorry!

2024-08-03 03:57:03 +0000 UTCHii!! there can be complications with splitting up flexi designs, the small parts even when glued can come apart with time and pose a hazard, which as a designer does make me nervous. However, I do understand how it’s a big benefit to a design as well, and I try to offer designs that print separately, including this design in which you can print the eyes separately, I chose not to split the wings as they would have only a small connection area with the body and likely come apart easily.

I work in a grocery store and I keep a few by my register just to give away to some people and they love it! I have even upsold a bambu to a local who owns an ender, she was so entranced by this specific model with the coloring.
