Giri and Gotchapon - OC card illustrations
Added 2023-06-07 17:00:06 +0000 UTCA friend of mine started an artist-alley focused trading card group, and I made some designs to participate in the trading!
I'll have these available at Anime Expo. They're meant for trading for other Original-Character cards, but I'll have them as a "secret menu" item too, available on request.
If you're new to the page, these two are original characters of mine, for a story/game concept I'm developing called "Doki Doki Demon Dungeon". To sum up their stories:
- Giri is the former, self appointed, Queen of the Monsters. Her army of underlings was destroyed by a knight from the Breakfast Kingdom and she hid away inside the skull-dungeon. The hero Skeleton defeats her and she later joins his party, swearing to use the skeleton's strength to rebuild her army. She later abandons these plans and grows to love her new found family.
- Gotchapon is a slime/mimic hybrid who was abandoned as a child. She grew up on the streets of a monster village inside the skull-dungeon and took up pickpocketing. Unlike other mimics and slimes, she hoards her treasure instead of eating it. Gotchapon is framed for a murder and the Skeleton Hero comes to her aid and clears her name. The two become great friends and decide to explore the rest of the dungeon (and later the outside world) together!

I plan to share this one outside of Patreon later this month, but I thought you'd all like a first look.
