At this point, Hadikay and Ambassador Choi are close, with Hadikay having the lead. June will probably not make it (she'll keep her job on DS69, so you might run into her again!).

Commander Hadikay

Commander Hadikay is a Xenobiologist (biologist that deals with alien life forms)
She is the lead Xenobiologist on Deep Space 69, and one of Rear Admiral Zala's trusted officers.
She comes from an ocean planet, and uses a respirator to breathe outside of water (the thing that looks like an external spine on her body).
She was brought on to the USS Ecstasy to study the parasite. She might need to collect "sea men" samples from the MC to understand how the parasite died, and how to cure Dr Smusher.

Bonus non-scenario render: Fun in the Medical Bay

Ambassador Luxanal Choi, daughter of the Filth House, Holder of the Sacred Chalice of Dixx, Heir to the Holy CockRings of Alphazetta.

Ambassador Luxanal Choi is a full Alphazetta female.
This means she can consciously project her thoughts in another person's mind. 

Though the practice is highly illegal, and a complete taboo in Alphazetta culture, her function of Ambassador requires her to break the rules to get things done, and grants her diplomatic immunity.
Besides, who would dare accuse the Ambassador of such despicable behavior?

Luxanal has prevented wars, and bedded many partners (male and female) thanks to her  charisma, elegance, and ability to manipulate people.
Just mentioning her name can lead to cease-fires, and trigger fantasies in those lucky enough to have met her.

I will either redesign the concept, or bring her back at a much later time, in different circumstances.
