Homecoming

My homecoming covered such a wide range of emotions: everything from bittersweet to joy to freedom to acceptance. Probably a few more that I haven't even defined yet.
As I walked through familiar spaces and places, it felt like the landscape could hold me. Like it was the only thing capable of containing me! It was the only thing big enough to hold my heart and my thoughts! That's a stark contrast to what I've felt before. There were times in life that I'd felt so small. Perhaps it was easy to feel small when the world was such a big place.
I'm so glad that I gave in to spontaneity. It was such a fleeting bit of time, but worth so much!
