Complete at last!
Added 2020-04-21 22:34:26 +0000 UTCIt's been awhile since some noticeable progress was made on this painting! It's taken a bit longer than I'd anticipated, but a lot of detail work has gone into this. I've done my best to capture close up shots of all the detail.
With a painting of this size, I felt it was really important to go into depth in the large areas around the figure. As I built up the depth in the background, I knew it would be equally important to refine details in the foreground. Drop shadows, tiny leaves, and defined edges took a bit of time.
