Body Shaming

Throughout the ages, the human form has been inspiration for art. I often use myself as a model for my own art. I want to share moments of my own personal experience and as a result, I create many self portraits. I hope that when you see my art you will relate to the emotion within the piece. This process has required my to lay myself bare both emotionally and physically.

I wanted to take a moment to express my thoughts and feelings on this subject.

I want to remind you that you're beautiful. You don't have to buy into the unrealistic standards of beauty (who sets these standards, anyway?). Your body is your own, and unique and wonderful. It's been through a lot, and seen you through everything you've been through this far. Be kind to yourself and be kind to others.

Thank you for listening, thank you for watching! Thank you for taking the time to visit me on Patreon!

Thank you Randy. I won't ever stop being who I am. It was interesting paying attention to them though. Hearing what they had to say. How it was unnecessary and hateful, and designed to hurt. It actually made me feel better about myself. Stronger. They can't hurt me, because I love myself, and no one can change that.

I'm so sorry you had to through that. You said it right, "We're all beautiful in our own way". Don't pay any attention to the trolls, their mothers and fathers didn't raise them right. Their main goal is to get a reaction out of you. All things being considered you're a fine human being and one I'd call "friend".
