Everyday, I am thrilled to pick up a brush and work on this painting! It's such a big piece that I thought the progress and brush strokes from one work session to the next would be too minute to discern. I'm finding however, that the opposite is true. I'm far from finished, but it's been really satisfying comparing the progress from day to day, Each time, I feel that a little more life is breathed into the piece. My ultimate hope is that once this is on the wall, completed, it will look as if the figure could crawl right out. I know that the pose of the figure may be challenging for some viewers. I hope that the impact of the piece will raise questions: why in the world is that woman shooting a bow bare breasted?! As always, thank you all so much for your support! I am so grateful for each one of you for joining me on this creative journey.
