The Contenders
Added 2020-02-08 22:12:14 +0000 UTCThese are the contenders for an upcoming submission to MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) Georgia! I'm really excited about the possibility of actually having my work shown in a museum. I can submit up to 5 pieces, so one of the above has to be eliminated. Along with images of the work, I'll be filling out a pretty thorough application process. This is part of being an artist: putting work out there, and seeing if others are moved by it. It's an emotional process that requires a tough skin. I know that everyone has a fear of rejection, and the potential for that is a reality. I may not get it in, but I'll be happier having tried!

I'm still not 100% I'm thinking that facing away with the tutu may not make the cut, or the reclining nude.
