Virgil's Prayerbook to the Horrifying Divine

This has been an absolute BLAST to work on, and I sincerely hope you all enjoy! (Plus, if you download the pdf, there is a little fun secret somewhere that doesn't quite fit...) Western Monotheism Defamiliarized into Cosmic Horror
If you’ve delved into practices of christianity and catholicism, there are many practices, rites, and rituals that if scrutinized, feel very cultish and eldritch in nature. This prayerbook took that initial idea and expanded upon it to be included in your world of D&D - showcasing that God does exist within the world, but it is an unknowable and terrifying thing. Take a journey with Virgil, the writer of this prayerbook after surviving his harrowing journey through the circles of hell as he recounts the deep horrors of divinity and its will. Bear witness to the vestiges of the Prophet, how it has touched the hearts and eyes of many; beckoning them to shed away their flesh for divine truth. Be careful dear reader, as the cosmic and unknowable nature of the divine has turned its eye towards Virgil, but it may too, eventually turn towards you.

Attain new tools for religious zealots or those who are truly faithful with 26 new esoteric spells that confer unique benefits to those who shed themselves of their frail mortal sight so they may better see the shape of Divinity itself. Find these spells lost in scrolls of old or learned when the eye is anointed with an apostle’s tear. Not only this, but with Virgil’s Prayerbook of the Horrifying Divine you can wield the Prophet’s power and Divinity itself with 5 new subclasses that revel in the all-encompassing love, horror, and wrath of the Divine.
Unearth the Santcified Relics
Within this Prayerbook, Virgil also recounts 28 relics - the sanctified eyes, skulls, skin, bones, and flesh of the Prophet and its apostles. Each relic carrying the weight of divinity in unique ways, whether it is the Burgeoned Eye of the Prophet, one of the many eyes that was plucked from its flesh that can replace the eye for better sight of the heavens, or the Knuckle of a saint that can find sinners and liars when the correct verse is whispered.
Bear Witness to True Angels
Battle against 14 new true angels, celestials that represent the truth of the Divine. Whether it is harbingers of the lord that are sprouted from the air of divinity itself to beckon the coming of the Prophet, or collections of divinity that percolated from the edicts of the beginnings of creation, these celestials are eldritch manifestations of the will of Divinity.
