Hello everybody!
In pretty much every game that I play thats outside of 5e, I love the idea of minionmancers. In Terraria, the summoner class calls to me FAR too often, and in other RPGs I really like just summoning dudes to beat the shit out of enemies for me. In 5e, its hard to do a good minionmancer, and this wizard is a psuedo-minionmancer that focuses more on utility. I really like the flavor of being able to control a bunch of nanites that can take the form of nearly anything, and so I created this wizard subclass that highly incentives the player to have at least one minion next to them. The minion itself doesn't really get super strong until later levels (summon construct + bigby's hand), but you can potientially get a ton of defensive bonuses and honestly just an extra pair of hands to help you out!
