The Bountystalker Ranger - Hunt your Bounties Down to the Ends of the Earth

This week I have for you all the Bountystalker Ranger! Whenever it comes to cyberpunk or futuristic dystopias, I feel as though a very common (but very cool) character archetype is always the really edgy, trenchcoat wearing, detective type character. A cyberpunk or future noir detective a la Nick Valentine from Fallout 4. So, when thinking about how to translate that into something a little more tangibile in D&D and having it built-in to the subclass itself, I ended up creating the Bountystalker Ranger! A Ranger that really puts more Hunter's Mark into your Hunter's Mark! I'm especially a fan of the 7th level ability as I think its just really cool to be able to watch footage of some criminal that looks at the camera for a little bit, and for a character to go 'yup, that's John McCrime alright,' and start their next bounty huntin' quest! Although their subclass features pretty much all revolve around gathering information about your mark or doing additional things to your actual mark, I also really enjoyed putting together their expanded spell list as a bunch of cool utility spells that really lean into the detective side of the bountyhunter!
