The Hacker Artificer!

This week I have another artificer subclass for you all (I have quite a few if I'm being honest), this one being the Hacker! Obviously with a bunch of new hacking or information stealing spells, there's gotta be some kind of hacker subclass and I think it fits best with the Artificer! This subclass isn't super damage heavy and on paper is actually a little on the weaker side, and mostly gains its power from its versatility in being able to hack and disable a lot of things on the fly while keeping their action economy going and pumping out a bit of damage to boot! (Quickhacks/Overrides are bonus actions, they do a bit of damage, and they usually provide some kind of benefit or disable something while all keeping your action avaliable to do your other damage thingies that can potientially proc the extra 1d8 multiple times a turn!) I know when I'm doing my cyberpunk oneshots I make sure there are plenty of hackable interactables and enemies (henceforth the razor scorpions), but it is something to keep in mind if you are planning on playing this subclass, as unfortunately, if there aren't a lot of things to hack, this subclass won't be as strong as it can be, so be sure to mention it to your DM during session 0!
