2 New Creatures Touched by Lunacy!
Added 2024-03-19 19:00:06 +0000 UTCHello everybody! Another update to the Flame of Lunacy, this time, with 2 new added creatures that represent the lower CR beasts and humanoids that have been afflicted with lunacy!
Although the Flametouched Beast serves mostly as a narrative tool to hint at lunacy affecting a nearby area in a 'natural' sense, the Scorchmarked are fun additions to add to an a social or combat encounter; humanoids completely afflicted and broken with Lunacy! Throw these Scorchmarked in with a few Lunacy Cultists and you have yourself a very dangerous encounter as when Scorchmarked are brought to Screaming Lunacy, they pack quite the punch!
Therefore your players will be forced to either, A; kill off the Scorchmarked as fast as possible before they immolate and erupt dealing more damage but not hurt the main source of damage, the cultists, or B; run straight after the cultists but have to tank Scorchmarked eruptions and potientially get stunned and limited from the Lunacy buildup!
