A Druidic Circle: Circle of Blood
Added 2023-07-29 22:00:30 +0000 UTCHello everybody! Apologies for the delay, because of such, I'm doing a double post today! So expect to ALSO see the Vampiric Feats later today! But this wonderful druidic subclass is something I very dearly want to play; the Circle of Blood!
Originally inspired by a beautiful piece of concept art of a blood druid, in addition to the Hemotropic Butterfly from HunterXHunter, I wanted to create a more edgy druid that utilizes such creatures and imagrey that thrives on blood! As such, you now have this damage focused, area control-esque Druid that is essentially spirit guardians on crack, all the time, throwing themselves into the fray while creating beautiful fields of spiderlillies from all of the creatures they've killed.
I really enjoy the flavor text and how the abilites will look in game for this particular subclass, as Blooddrenched Spiderlily *always* creates a spiderlily, and the limit is only on how often you can activate them. As such, you can get really cool imagrey of a druid flocked by ravens with their beaks covered with blood or blooddrenched butterflies as spiderlilies sprout all around them!
