Alpha v8.1 Public Update

Update includes gameplay changes, 2 new affection levels, redone dialogue, and a bunch of visual improvements, plus other stuff. Go to X for link and details.

I added a system that should easily let you know if a new update is out.

We don't have any current plans to add features like that. Basically, we'd have to implement that as a debug tool for us devs to use first. Then, we'd allow everyone else to use it. It's just that, we don't really need a debug tool like that atm. Sorry!

Amazing update ! One question tho, will there be an option to add (for example when in god mode) a way to trigger her growth ? Like press X key and she grows.

While I enjoy the idea and I had many people tell me their shrink related ideas, the truth is that I can't implement them yet. The game is designed with the regularly sized player's hitbox in mind. Many objects don't have precise colliders for a small player, so implementing shrink is not feasible yet. We apologize

We'll look into tweaking the growth values. Perhaps it is better that the growth values scale as she grows. I may start with 10% bonus, but I'll leave a slider so you can increase it 100% if you'll like. That'll really make her grow exponentially. We don't have any specific crushing actions in the works, we apologize.

We'll be tweaking the values. I don't believe her random wander radius grows as she grows, which she really should have. That might greatly help the situation.

We're looking for ways to add more variety with the animations and behaviours we have currently. For example, if the gts decides to walk near a crucible, she'll crouch in front of it instead. Completing the crucible will skip the animation straight to her just grabbing it. That's already been implemented. We have some walking variations animations we want to implement. We have finger destruction in the works, but it's still being worked on.

I don't know what your stance on pitched ideas is, but hear me out: Shrink Artifact. Food just out of reach under a table? Shrink Artifact. Too many statues in the area and you'll have to try sneaking by them? Shrink Artifact. Think you could hide beneath the higher parts of her sole if you were a little smaller? Shrink Artifact. You just want her to look even bigger? Shrink Artifact. It's a double-edged sword. You become a much harder target and could squeeze into more places. But it also takes a lot longer to get from point A to point B, and any step from the giantess is an instant death. Feels like a really good risk/reward way to play the game.

Out of curiosity, have you considered making a chat area here in the patreon? I noticed there's a seed system and was curious what all other people ran into see wise, along with its good for chatting with others!

Thanks for updating! The public update content isn't too different from the beta version. Right now, the only thing I feel is missing is that after her height reaches 800 meters, the energy gained from destruction feels too little. Perhaps you could add specific crushing actions (like grinding with her foot, sitting/hip pressing, etc.) that would allow Akipo to gain a large amount of energy and pleasure?

The game is really awesome! Blown away by the experience and honestly was good fun after I figured out the shrine donation. One thing I noticed while toying around with modifiers and such is that the abandonment issues doesn't seem like its working as intended. She stays inside the city, so that part is true, when they start getting bigger it causes her to kind of just spin around in a circle when walking around since she tries to hard to stay in city instead of existing at all. So past a 1000m, it actually becomes easier to navigate albeit slower since she never really gets dangerously close with her feet unless you really aren't paying attention. It might be a good idea to allow her to still navigate to some degree outside of the city walls to compensate for the lack of space!

A friend of mine had an awesome idea, actually. What if at a certain size, instead of just walking back and forth over the city (which can get samey real fast if she just flattens the whole thing every time), sometimes she'll bend over/lie down and finger-walk through the city instead, crushing buildings like normal just with her fingers instead of with her feet? I'm aware that this would be a lot of work for the animators, though, but it would be nice to have more behaviors for the giantess in general, such as sitting down to take a break from time to time. It'd also be nice to be able to call her attention to a statue or something for her to crush it, but obviously this would be a double-edged sword since she might get annoyed with you making her solve your problems if you do it too often... maybe best to save it for when the placement is particularly unfair.

We hoped that we solved that bug, but it still persists. It's a very rare bug. I assume it's caused by the game putting a destroyed item into the reuse queue twice. Because of that, an item could spawn, be grabbed, and be reused for another item spawn, taking it from your inventory. One day I'll find the cause

Is there any way to unlock all the levels but not everything else? I just wanna play the other levels despite the bug on the second level

First of all, awesome patch, a lot of thing and more improvements made, good job! So, i don't know it is a bug or i'm missing something but in the second village the "plains" that needs 325 food, i did like 4-5 runs but ends the same way, i give her food 3 times but the forth for that 25 didn't appear anywhere...

Found a bug although don't know what caused it and haven't been able to replicate it where a food item appeared with other items on the players hand with its name and base value showing but if swapped to hand slot it would appear invisible with the player holding nothing, throwing on the floor removes the item from the inventory but nothing drops. Had an idea it was caused by catching the food item when throwing into the cauldron as it happened after spending some time getting enchantments but have had no success so far.

1. I noticed that blank dialogue bug that occurs sometimes now also happens if Akipo has her growth meter topped off with a shrine. This seems to be a more consistent trigger than when Akipo sometimes does it with her stomp attack. 2. Statue spawning behavior seems different now. If you have the mod set to a high value it's pretty common to see them spawn in clusters around each other instead of just being in a set spot around roads and quarries.
