Lemony Snicket is blooming!!!!!! Oh my goodness, she’s covered in fat little white buds and the air around her has this subtle sweet scent. I stick my nose in close to the open flowers and inhale until I’ve sucked all that sweetness into my lungs.

Remember when I harvested my lettuce seeds and then they actually sprouted? Well, they’re still (mostly) going!

All the red-leafed seeds I planted didn’t survive the slugs and squirrel diggings— except for this one little sprout which clearly had its seed swept up into the frilly green seed stash by accident. So now I’ve got this little redhead in a green leafy sea.

LOOK AT THIS SWEET HAUL I FOUND IN A THRIFT SHOP. They’re all brand new!!!! This whole bundle was less than $10!!! Online I see them selling for like at least ten bucks a pop! THIS WAS SUCH A STEAL (I am super into 80s children’s commercial illustration)

Aaaaaaand on a final note:

A couple years ago Matt was sent a sex doll named Alabama to review for the site. We took a bunch of goofy pictures with her (NOT THE SEXY KIND) and one of us printed them out, though neither of us remember doing it. Again, neither of us recalls who was responsible for this, but somehow they floated over to the entryway and have just been hanging out loose by some framed family pictures that are on display.

SO I was at Goodwill just now (of course. Where else would I be?) and I found the perfect frame.
