A Podcast, a Festival, and a Sea Pony All Walk Into an Update Together...

Listen to my husband's HBA (Hot British Accent)! Isn't he the best? His dad listened to this interview and was like "You don't sound English at all any more, you sound like an American." which is hilarious to me because all I hear when he talks is that sweet, sweet HBA.
We're also doing a talk on Saturday "at" the San Antonio Book Festival-- by which I mean we'll be broadcasting a conversation live from our living room onto the festival's website, which anyone (I think?) can watch on their own devices. I think it's free? I'm... pretty sure it's free. You just register for a free ticket (as opposed to the fancier paid ones that give you more perks) and then you... watch the talk? Somewhere? On the website? Maybe?
The event is April 10th at 11 am PDT, with librarian and educator Elsa Treviño-Dominguez moderating our discussion. I would link you to our specific event listing, but ol' Grandma Moen over here can't figure out how to do that (although I did manage to take that screen capture above). I'd also link to the page where the talk will be broadcast but, again, this is beyond my capabilities at this time. Hopefully this information will be posted in an obvious place on the website the day it's happening?
I can only pray some of you are more tech savvy than I am and can figure this out on your own because I am not going to be any help here, sorry 😬

😭My sister and I had a sea pony that came with a flotation ring and would change colour in warm water. It was the COOLEST thing and we loved it!! Then a “friend“ of mine in elementary school nicked it from me on a play date. When I got it back, she had somehow bleached the hair, lost the ring, and it wouldn’t change colour anymore. 💔
